DUR

In short
Djurslands Udviklingsråd (DUR) brings together businesses, organizations, and municipalities to strengthen development across Djursland. As the council prepared for a new mandate, SJ&K provides support in the process leading to the evaluation and future direction of DUR.
Project details
Djursland is a diverse region where collaboration between local stakeholders is essential to securing long-term growth, strong communities, and new opportunities. Djurslands Udviklingsråd (DUR) was established as a joint forum by the municipalities of Norddjurs and Syddjurs, bringing together representatives from business, culture, and civil society to shape a shared agenda for the area.
At the close of its current electoral term, DUR set out to evaluate its role and define priorities for the years ahead. The final assembly in September 2025 provides a platform for members to reflect on DUR’s impact, identify areas for improvement, and point toward future ambitions. The insights and recommendations will be presented to both municipal councils as the basis for a renewed mandate.
SJ&K assists in creating a structured process that enabled discussions on DUR’s purpose, format, and priorities, ensuring that members could contribute meaningfully to shaping the council’s next phase.
The outcome is a stronger foundation for DUR’s continued role as a unifying driver of development across Djursland – anchored in local needs and supports by broad participation.
